Nova Design is being founded. We are not taking on projects yet and will start once our business registration is complete. Questions are welcome already.

What we develop ourselves

Besides the example websites under References, we work on projects of our own. We show them here, and only when they are real and online: Nova Tools, free calculators and helpers for small businesses, and NovaCheck, checklists with deadlines and sources.

Nova Tools

The idea

Many freelancers set their prices by gut feeling, and in small offices every invoice is typed in by hand. Nova Tools are small tools that help with exactly that, free and without sign-up.

The implementation

Six tools on a website of their own: three calculators for hourly rates, quotes and photography with the figures for Austria 2026, plus helpers that read invoices, answer customer questions and send appointment reminders. Everything runs in the browser, inputs and invoices are not uploaded.

What the site can do

Hourly rate with social insurance (SVS) and income tax 2026
Quotes and cost estimates as PDF
PDF invoices into an Excel spreadsheet
FAQ chatbot without a server or AI costs
No sign-up, no cookies

Status: online since October 2026. Pro features will follow after our business registration.

NovaCheck

The idea

Before a trip or a visit to the authorities, it is easy to forget something, and the rules are scattered across many government websites. NovaCheck gathers them into one checklist that fits your situation.

The implementation

A few questions about your situation, such as destination, federal state or citizenship, turn into a list: mandatory items with legal basis and deadline, recommendations and what you should have ready, color-coded and filterable. Every item is researched with the responsible authority and linked. We do not maintain entry requirements ourselves, but link to the country information of the Austrian Foreign Ministry.

What the site can do

Deadlines from your travel date
Warning if your passport is valid for too short a time
Required, recommended and packing list, filterable
Country information of the Foreign Ministry for 198 countries
No sign-up, no tracking, data stays in the browser

Status: online since October 2026. Life situations are added step by step; the app’s home page shows which ones are ready.
